I would say the Works O2 housing or have your stock one ported. I ended up having my stocker ported.

Get the SSautochrome.com one it is the best and has been tested by David Buschar himself and showed the highest gains.

And if you don't want the flashy polished look. Simply have it powder coated with a high-temp coating and slap it on and enjoy.

The only one to maintain the factory heat shield is the WORKS O2 housing. A kidney later and you can afford to have this piece on your car.

The trivial test by Buschur shows the best performance to be the SSautochrome O2 housing.

You can't use the OEM heat shield with most o2 housings? Man, I read a lot of o2 housing threads and didn't realize that.

Yes, none of the aftermarket O2 housings allow you to bolt on the factory heatshield with the exception of the Works housing, that's why I originally mentioned it. The starter of this thread was asking advice about a O2 housing with a stealthy look that can't be seen and it's funny how most of the people answered SSautochrome, like that's stealthy .

In a nutshell your choices are Works (expensive), ported stock O2 housing (very stealthy and gets the job done), have threaded receiver pieces welded to your ebay housing to try and bolt on the heat shield, hi-temp coat your ebay housing with a dark color to try and hide it.

I run the ebay (SSA) o2 housing and am still utilizing both heatshields which makes it very stealth. This is definitely the best performance part for the money and is worth about 10-15whp.

Did you just attach the lower heatshield using just the one bolt?

I tried to use the stock lower heat shield on my friends Evo after I installed his eBay O2 housing and it rattled like crazy at open throttle. That one bolt just didn't secure it enough. I'm glad it worked for you.

I have the Invidia O2 and it's been great. It's huge and also has a support bracket welded on like the stocker.

ported stocker = most stealthy, but for max gains Id go w/ an ebay O2 housing and just get it hi temp coated black to hide it a little better
