Installed Greddy IC...

hey guys...
i installed a greddy intercooler...fit great and my butt actually feels a harder more linear pull...

but i have a question...i dont wanna sound like noob but i noticed that after the install...i can hear my turbo spool louder and my STOCK BOV just a tad louder...is this normal from an IC or do i have a leak somewhere..i recon asking on the forum is much easier than taking the bumper off and makiing sure everything is tight..yeah am lazy.

just so that you know..my boost is set at <21 and doesnt tapper...the car pulls harder than before and runs really realy great [knock on f*ckin wood]..

feedback is appreciated...

Respect
Moose

ps i did the install

I was not really... I was scrolling the smiles and thought it was funny looking. What I meant to say was .

edit: I believe that the louder sounds you may be hearing could be from a less restrictive intercooler and possibly from better sealing couplers and clamps. I have experienced both.

Moosa, a freer flowing intercooler will amplify the turbo whine, intake 'sucking' o whine (if you have an open pod filter) and stock MR BOV. I had the same concerns with my Nisei FMIC back on my E9 in Singapore, but have been assured by many shops and tuners that this is normal.

Where did you get the GReddy FMIC? did you get it new or did you buy it used? PM me the price you got it for. I'm keen to find a better FMIC, preferably used.

You might have a boost leak.
