I purchased an Apexi RX6 turbo kit, and I am wondering what is the maximum boost I am likely toget with this? Also does anyone have experience with this kit? When does it exactly start spooling, at what revs?! Maybe it helps if I add that I am running 2.3 stroker kit...

You'll love the kit. A friend has the kit on his 05 VIII and has run 34 psi on it. I can't tell you what the spool is like because at 28 psi on race gas, things just happen too fast. I would "guess" that it spools very similar to my GT30 and I hit 20 psi at 3800 rpm in 5th. With the 2.3, you should see this improve by 300 or so rpm.

 

What turbo #'s does it it have exactly.

The turbo I have is Apexi RX6 TCW 77LS, on my Evo IX ( Mivec system ) !

its brand new but ive decided to go a different route

What are you asking for the kit?

 

I think it was in turbo mag, they were tuning a skyline they started wityh the standard 2.6 displacement, and had it bored out to 2.8, and from their results, they listed that boost came on 500 rpms sooner with the extra 2/10's displacement. But I am unsure if this is releavent because the evo engine is 4 cylinder opposed to the skylines 6 cyclinder.
