HR:evo 8 cam install 7 jan 07SUFFOLK,va experience needed

here is the deal, my friend has an 03 evo 8 and santa brought him some brian crower cams, hks cam gears and an hks kevlar timming belt. he is off this sunday and looking for some help to get this all done from the local evo community. He is a little strapped for cash but willing to throw a couple hundred out for the install. if anyone wants to help with the install and has some experience installing cams in the evo please post if you are willing to do the job. we can have the install at my house here in suffolk virginia(hampton roads area) and make a day of it with other local evo members, or can bring the evo to whom ever. he is just trying to save some money because if no one helps it will be about 600 for the install at a shop. please post if you are willing.thanks again
brian

install date: 7 jan 2007 in suffolk va, hampton roads area

I'm assuming the $600.00 ( from a local shop ) atleast includes replacing the timing/balance shaft belts along with the cam install.

At that price, I would hope that valve spring and retainer installation would
be included also.

Damn for 600 bucks I would expect a lot more. Why not drive to AMS in DC and get it done for the 200 bucks they charge? I can't imagine anyone paying 600 for a cam install.

For that price I hope it also includes a dyno tune.
