RNR says about PINKS,

"WOW, I didn't even know this thread was still alive. Basically it comes down to this. Both cars for the race weren't ready in time. Instead of bringing a car that wasn't 100% ready and not properly representing the EVO world. We decided to postpone the race for March. Once you guys see this EVO you will understand why it took so long. It will be WELL WORTH THE WAIT.

FYI, if you have any questions please feel free to email me at
rs92laser@yahoo.com

and the reason we aren't active on here as much anymore is because we started a new company which restores cars and time is very tight for us these days."

This PINKS bs started in August and they couldn't get their car ready in 6 months? More typical RNR bs. The good thing is they are no longer a vendor and have started a "new company" which I'm sure will be great for their already pitiful customer service. I feel sorry for whatever sucker pays them to restore their car.

I would recommend steering clear of RnR. I have learned the hard way that you truely get what you pay for.

RnR is pretty much eBay/MR. There is even a local San Diego guy who bought their "GT35" kit but it is a GT35 style or GT35 like.

Buschur sells the MR o2 for $100 or $200 coated.

b/s bouth parties were not ready. i bet my evo and its mods that R&R was not ready. or something happen. tell r&r to keep the car off the show. let someone who will win and get the job done the right way the 1st time to go do the show. i bet if they race and there car brakes i bet they blame it on the track or the other team. like the other team did something to the car. man im so worked up now. i gotta go read another thread befor i go nuts i stand by my word on the 2ed page 1st post. glad i did not go farther then i did with that company otherwize **** would hit there fan. i dont stand for that crap.

come on, now, watch what you say. BR was the one who tested the Ebay o2 against the Invidia, Works, and the stock ported/coated o2 and found out the Ebay o2 made the most power. He then bought a ton off Ebay, coated them, and started selling for $200. At no point in time did he try to put his name on that o2 and pretend he made it while overcharging. No, he told everyone on EvoM what his results were and exactly what he was doing. There is no comparison to RNR, and it's $200 because it's ceramic coated unlike the RNR one...

i agree. b/r did state he uses ebay o2's and in no way ever said it is his own parts. as where r&r said it is there part they make. so b/r is clearly not involved in this nore should his name have come up in this thread.

Yes, it bolts right to the turbo - it would be pretty useless if it didn't.

I wasn't talking about the heat shield. I said it bolts right to the turbo. I couldn't care less about the heat shield - I removed it so I have room to work in there.
