Exclamation RnR Racing o2 Housing vs. eBay o2 Housing

Can you tell the difference, because I sure as hell couldn't. They even came in the same size box with the same bolts and gasket. The welds were virtually identical too. One of the reasons I'm posting this is because Ryan told me that I didn't know what I was talking about and that I was spreading rumors and misinformation when I suggested that his o2 housing was the same as the eBay one. Now that I finally removed the "RnR housing" today and replaced it with the eBay one do I see that they are in fact the same. Do yourself a favor and buy the eBay one for less than half the cost of the RnR. I think its messed up that he sells this stuff as his own design when that is not the case, at least not in mine. Maybe he has a "new design" out now since the 10 months I bought this one from him

Just trying to clear up the "misinformation" I've been spreading...

Hmm, I thought it was common knowledge that they took those same parts that are sold on Ebay and rebadged them as their own. Tons of people do it, but I didn't know RNR was actually denying it and claiming that THEY ACTUALLY make these o2 housings themseleves. It's the same with the exhausts, too, except for the Carbon/Ti muffler. Megan, Logic Performance, Helix, yadda yadda....all from the same factory in China.

Looks same to me Nice catch. They might not even realize that whoever is selling the ebay one just copied their design.

EDIT: ^ OR what Warr said...

LOL... I hope you're being sarcastic. Down to the same box and packaging? Ryan shipped me his originally because "he didn't have any in stock but was having more made" when I bought his exhaust at the same time.

yeah ther version 1 IC core looks like the Ebay one you can get for $100 on Ebay. Then they just give you a few brackets to make it work. Their version 2 looks much better.

The only difference I can see is that one cost 60 bucks and the other costs 250 bucks for the same thing. I have a buddy a few months ago purchase an 02 housing from rnr and my other friend got his off of ebay and they looked identical. However, the guy who got his from rnr was pissed!

Friends don't let friends buy RNR rebadged, price-hiked items!

Yeah man RNR is real dirty. It's a shame too because I LOVE their turbo kit manifold, they are just too shady though.

To me for the most part look identicle. But the left one looks slightly different at the top and the left side collector looks like it has a bend in it whereas the o2 on the right is smooth...

I used a camera phone to take the pics and its easier to see the bends in the shiny new part vs the used discolored one. They are the same. It was meant to be a rhetorical question.
