Question RNR turbo kits?

I have heard mixed reviews about RNR. Right now I have a chance to buy a RNR gt3076 turbo kit for a very reduced price. The thing is that Im not sure if I want to take a chance on a company that has had such conflicting reviews. Any help and info about them would be awesome.

As long as it's not coming from RNR but someone that has the kit already you should be ok. Personally I would go with another vendor. I speak from experience as a car I am building for a friend, hes been have "issues" with RNR. I'm sure he'll elaborate once everything is all said and done.

The turbo kit is coming from a shop I know and Love in tacoma WA. they said that the kit had made good power on the other Evo it was on. I guess my main thing is will it last, and how is the quility of RNR's products?

thats true most of the time. I would like to get away fromt he stock turbo. I need some thing that wont poop out after 7k rpm. I have it set up for 8500 at this point in time. Soon it will be a 600awhp 9500 rpm Evo I guess the smart thing to do is just wait and get the AMS gt35r or gt37r kit that I have been wanting.

Quality isn't too much of an issue although there are better kits out there. The biggest gripe is the customer service and how quickly they can turn around orders. If the kit is already assembled w/ all the parts needed you should be fine.

RNR delivery times suck!!!

RNR..where to start I have now bought 4 of their kits, 2 GT30's (420 whp @ 28psi), 1 Gt35r (550whp @ 28psi) & now a bb 50trim kit (going on tomorrow).

Their work is very good, and they use good turbo's, craftmanship is A1...they also have an excellent warranty, never had to use it yet though.

But the delivery time SUCKS, and this is the last kit I will ever buy from RnR , I buy and sell their kits to Evo owners in my country. I pay ontime & in full...Ryan always promises me 2 weeks...then it takes 6 weeks. RnR never answers the phone which totally sucks.

He'll tell you everything is there and "in-stock" don't believe him...they cannot deliver ontime. If you live close by them, well def. buy the kit once they can give you the kit the same day.

I love there kit, and that's why I try and put up with their sucky delivery times and the BS from Ryan...but the 50 trim kit is the last RnR kit I will buy. I will look for a new vendor for turbo kits for my other Evo customers...the wait is just not worth it.

PM me if you have any questions...I have dealt with RnR for awhile now.
