02 cel fix rubbing

i recent bought a test pipe and did the non fouler 02 fix. and it works great, but sometimes at idle it makes this weird rattle cause it's a really tight fit with the angle the 02 sensor is at because of my exhaust. what would be the best (cheap) thing to do to give me some more clearance? i'd like to avoid getting my exhaust hacked up if possible, but i'm not totally against it. thanks

I had the same problem with my espelir turbo bac setup. I gave up on trying to use the antifoulers right now , but my last resort is to have a new 02 bung welded right before the original one and cap of that original one. On my exhaust , it is welded so that no matter what I try the sensor angles up toward the car and hits the floor. I heard of people banging out the floor some under the car. Let me know what you do b/c I really want to get this issue resolved too.

i've heard some people getting away with only using one anti fouler. i might give that a try, cause i only need like 1/2 and inch or clearance

a hammer is a cheap way of getting more clearance.

i have the problem with my espelir cat back. it only alows you to run 1 anti fouler before it hits the floor of the car and your supose to run 2 anti foulers for a test pipe
i was throwing the coad with the helix high flow cat and the 1 anto fouler fixed it but now i just put a test pipe in and the coad came back

basically you can either live with the check engine light ot weld another bung on the exhaust or hammer the floor a little so you can run 2 anti foulers

Or, you can use a 90 degree elbow fitting for more clearance.

I now have at least 2" clearance between the floorboard and O2 sensor.

No CEL for over a year now with a test pipe.

Where can you get a 90 deg elbow w/ threads that fit into the o2 sensor hole?

Can you let us know what the part # or where you picked that up. I would really rather try that out than having to weld another 02 bung. I also tried to just use 1 of the antifoulers and had no cel issues but after a week or so I got the rattling from the sensor hitting the floor again.

Sorry, I don't know the part number as I found it at work in the shop and there is no stamping on this fitting.

But, the brand name is Parker/CPI fitting.
Size M18x1.5 90 degree elbow.

If I can find a Parker/CPI parts catalog at work, I'll look it up for you guys.

Hmm... interesting. I didn't know Parker made such fittings. I have a Parker catalog here at work that I just looked through it and found some that might work, but am not sure it'll fit. Is your elbow one solid piece? Or does it have swivel fittings on it?

what do I do if I am just installing a test pipe without a bung hole? i.e. Stock exhaust with test pipe...do I just have to live with the cel light?

what I did, I took a hammer and cloth - and bang on the body a little bit where the o2 sensor was touching on the body.. problem solved.
