Evo 5 with 20g?

Hey guys,

would you know if the 20g-8 or even the LT would fit evo 5's? I am really leaning towards the evo 8 20g's as of now since I am not looking to build so much hp anyway, i just want a lil more pull. I asked Nick from BR and he's not sure. My stock turbo is much like the TME, so if their 20g's would bolt on to mine, surely I'd get one. I hope to hear you ideas soon... thanks!

It will fit fine. I have a 20G-9 on my Evo IV, you just need to bend the water line slightly.

Thanks man, that's great help. Hey, how is it compared to the stock turbo? Did you get enough gains? And what exactly do you mean about bending the water lines? Thanks again man!

I am picking up a 20G-9-LT on a cammed VIII today at Dougs DynoPower. Doug's waiting for a new flash from Al to finish the tune. The car is a 04 with Stage 4 Buschur parts and a REE 3200 clutch. Call Doug for the details.

You should see reasonable gains over the stock V turbo, more so if you are running high boost.

The water line wont matchup exactly but you can simply bend it a very little so it matches up - can be done by hand.
