EBC's do help hold higher boost at a higher rpm if they have the rpm dependant duty cycle adjustment - (e.g. AVCR and the EBoost2)

However, it should be noted that forcing the turbo to hold higher boost at high rpms brings the turbo out of its efficency rating and starts to result in a lot of hot unstable hair dryer effect which leads to increased knock

In many cases it may be actually better to allow the boost to taper down slightly and smooth out the power band with the mivec and ign timing
