what you guys think !! Evo VII
Well ur Evo VII is JDM spec rite??
Your stock injectors are 550cc and i do think you will be needing bigger injectors since i also own a JDM EVO VII...And belive me on stock injectors u should check your AF`s...
Also tell me if m rong you will be needing a wide band....
Besides who says Power FC is hard to tune???

do you know what you're talking about? jun's 264 cams profile is much more agressive than the hks280, even at their stage1 (264) camshaft design.
also clutches are rated to handle torque. not horsepower.
listen to the guys telling you to stick with the ecutek flash. although that price is a massive ripoff. its about 600-700 here for first comers.

Yes, I do know what I am talking about! Over here it is COMMON KNOWLEDGE that HKS cams are poor performers when compared to the other companies. HKS exaggerates their ADVERTISED DURATION figures so they'll draw in uninformed consumers. The actual duration of HKasS cams at .050" of lift are total weak sauce when compared to most cams on the market.
I do realize clutches are rated for torque BUT those torque figures correlate to a HP figure. ORC309D is rated to 300hp and the ORC409D is rated to 400hp. By the time a given setup reaches the aforementioned hp figures the engine is also producing the max amount of torque the clutch will hold. The clutch is built to the specific needs of an engine so this is why the ORC409D clutch disk and cover for a 4G63 are not the same as the clutch disk and cover for a B18C. Ummmmm.... that's common sense!
Why waste money on a flash when you can have an ECU with datalogging and tune-on-the-fly programming.

jkim2001 - I can find lots of good deals on yahoo auction japan and goo. I just snagged two more centerlock wheels for my Honduh at an AWESOME price. Send me a PM with the parts you need and I'll see what I can do.
I now own (2) complete sets of Hayashi Racing centerlocks after locating 2 BRAND NEW wheels on Yahoo. Only (15) sets were produced in this style.

The Power FC is a complete, stand alone, total engine management system capable of handling virtually anything thrown in its path
the Power FC replaces the factory ECU and controls all engine parameters.

by the way devil evo...we have ecuflash here in dubai..i would recommend that over the Power FC because the tuner knows what he is doing..he has tuned tons of evos from all over the place...whereis the Power FC is not so populat here..
Good Luck

One Thousand Dunes tunes with EcuTEK, not EcuFlash. They wanted AED4000 (approx US$1100) to custom tune my car on ECUTek. They also do motec, but that ECU is way too advanced for the level of tuning that I am looking for.
And by the way, Performance Group doesn't do tuning. They outsource it to Bin Sulayem who is a good friend of the owner. They tried to get me to use LINK ECU over PowerFC, and I'm not entirely convinced that LINK is a good choice. The LINK ECU would have cost approx AED6500 (US$1770) without installation and tuning, so go figure.

That's what I thought. I am just waiting for someone to offer ECUFlash custom tuning in the UAE. Are you guys keen to get a custom tune on ECUFlash, cos i can get a good tuner from Singapore to come over and do custom tuning
if you end up g etting JUN camshafts then you will probably need a standalone. I'd recomended the AEM EMS before the Apexi Unit.
A friend of mine was running 30 psi on pumpgas/alky injection on the stock injectors so they should be fine if you go with that combo.
Jun Camshafts are radically more powerful than the HKS however they aren't recomended for stock head evos. They are more for full out drag Evos with larger turbo's. They will shine there.
A better choice would be HKS 280's or GSC 280s if you want to stick with the stock head.
Also a double plated clutch is a tad over kill for the listed mods but it's your money.
