the drivability sucks with ac on

i just want to know if this is normal or if theres something wrong with my car. car has basic bolts ons and hks 272's.

with the ac on the drivability just sucks. the idle gets lower and is irratic. the car shakes because the idle is too low. the car will sometimes stall. the car feel like its lost at least 50+whp with the ac on and is espically super slow at the low end idel - 3k rpm.

whats wrong with my car
it was tuned a tuning technologies
are the cams causing this drivability issue
is anyone else having this problem

did you try asking TT? seeing how they tuned the car they could most likely give you the most accurate answer, and a solution. good luck.

Most likely they forgot to set the idle higher for a/c on... I have absolutely no problems, I'm running 272's with stock cam gears.

It is most likely the tune...did you also upgrade injectors? That could be causing it as well. It could also be something simple like proper grounding...

by what method was your car "tuned" as you say? safc, ecuflash, etc?

so your car idles great with the a/c off?

some people have greater issues when the a/c is on vs. others, just like the having rough or smooth idle w/272 cams & stock cam gears.

look & see where your cam gear settings are @ just to know.

I had 720cc Denso's in my 2003 Evo and my first tune was a bit off in regards to idle performance. That can definately be the cause so check it out.

well i just bought the car about a month 1-2 months ago. i have the dyno sheet from tuning technologies. the car does have a safc 2 so its either tuned on that or an ecu flash. i mean it idels ok with the ac off not perfect though. it does have a very loopy idle from the cams but in generals it idles fromk with the ac off at 800-900 rpm. its just with the ac on it idles like **** and the car run like crap too

If you bought the car 3rd party and it has mods and fuel modifiers in it, then I would always take it to a reputable shop and have it sorted out. You never know whats going on with the car until you get some numbers from a shop you can trust.
