That's interesting because I made around 292awhp, 290wtq. with pretty much the same mods on a Dyno Dynamics dyno.... dunno what that translates into with a Dynojet, but it should be more than what you made... I was on 91 octane too... Your torque numbers look kinda low because usually the torque and hp with those mods are around the same, not 20-30 apart.

Notice I made that DV suggestion to Matt, who has an VIII - I even specified those mods suggestions were for an VIII. The IX comes with an aluminum DV that VIIIs use as an upgrade. It is efficient up to 24-25psi. No, I do not suspect his stock IX DV is leaking.

EDL, negligible difference.

On that note, my viii DV was leaking at 17.0-17.5psi with 30,000 miles on it. Put a ix Dv on and it hold just fine.

Im a bit disappointed at the torque.

I expected atleast 300 torque.

It was a conservative flash then road tune. Hopefully with 3" dp,3" o2 housing, ebc, and most importantly a custom dyno tune I hope to achieve atleast 330whp on the dynojet.

Hopefully next week if I have time off work I will take her to the dragstrip and see what kinda traps I can pull.

No, don't use the Greddy Type RS - not sure why people get the Greddy BOVs. Is it just the Greddy name or what?

Eroe, look, you can't expect such big gains. I already mentioned that you have a DP - switching from 2.75" to 3" is going to do nothing. The SS O2 is a good mod, but a dyno tune won't make more power than a road tune either. You're just wasting a lot of money by getting tuned multiple times. The EBC won't randomly make more power either. Why are you spending money on basically the same mods? It makes no sense...

At THE SHOP that they have a dyno dynamics they told us that the difference from a dynojet is 1.12. Multiply your numbers to 1.12 and you will see what you would have gotten on a dynojet...

292whp/290ft-lbs on a DD is 327/325 on a dynojet...

for the history i made 298.6 whp and 306 ft-lbs on the Shop's DD... so i guess we are pretty close...

Im just trying to figure out why my IX is not making the power it should be

I compared my dyno sheet to someone elses on SCE. Identical.

Could it be that my I got a "less powerful" IX than others

That's a very nasty event at 7k rpm, and it happens to both of you. Were you both tuned by the same person? Crappy torque with a crappy curve just like yours...

Thats what I'm trying to figure out

It looks like the same tune to me

Which leads me to believe I need a re-tune
