Clutch and flywheel???

Ok so today was a sad day....my stock clutch (on my newly bought 03 evo) is completely toasted
I've been looking all day trying to find a new replacement. I was thinking about getting the ACT Xtreme. What do you guys think? I'm looking to spend no more than around 900 or so for the clutch. Also, I was told I might want to get a lightened flywheel at the same time. Could someone explain what the advantage of a lightened flywheel would be? If you have any suggestions or opinions I would really appreciate it.

You should search for the answer because this question is asked about 3 times week, but here you go anyway

Well the Xtreme with the street disc is rated by ACT at 567 lb ft measured at the crank the HD with a street disc (HDSS) is rated at 508 lb ft again at the crank. If you need the extra torque capacity offered by the XT pressurte plate then go for it,if not the HDSS will work for you.

As far as the lightened flywheel goes it is not necessary but while you are replacing the clutch it would be a good time to do it. The stock flywheel is already pretty light at around 14 lbs. ACT makes a Prolite ,10.1 and a Streetlite,13.1. The benefit of the lightened flywheel will be quicker acceleration through the gears because you are removing weight off the crank shaft via the flywheel.
