Is it time to upgrade my stock IX injectors and spark plugs?
Hello all...
I am in the process of building a 400whp Evo IX that uses the stock turbo. It will have all the major bolt ons in my signature plug race gas, larger FMIC, and S1 cams to be daily driven.
Im just curious to know: Should I upgrade the stock injectors or spark plugs for optimal power? Any other fuel or ignition support mods besides those and a fuel pump?
if I were to change out the injectors/spark plugs, would that allow me to run more power or would it be more of an insurance booster on the stock turbo?
Lastly, does race gas lower duty cycle just like methanol does and can the stock injectors still be used like when using a meth kit?
I plan on replacing the headstuds and stock DV in order to support higher boost (approx. 28psi on race gas as a daily driver). I am just trying to see if there is anything else I need for optimal performance and power.
Thank you for your time!
