Im taking a wild guess and assuming the weird torque curve is due to the exhaust cam.. Ive seen other Evo IXs loose low-mid torque after installing the exhaust cam, just a thought

The intake cam is going in the last weekend of January. It depends on when it gets back to me from GSC.

Nope no problems with the cam. It was most likely my fault, either that or the dowel was loose. At any rate, when installing the mivec cam gear I used a tiny rubber mallet, the smallest available, to tap the gear onto the cam. Doing so caused me to push the dowel in. I am pretty sure that I had it lined up correctly but I probably had it a bit off.

On a side note the dowels on the cams are larger diameter than the stockers which just slide into place. This makes things particularly difficult when trying to install the mivec gear as it is impossible to see the dowel through the gear.
