Who has the BR Stage I for the VIII?

I am seriously thinking about getting this if the finance gods smile on me when I file my tax return and was wanting to get some input from people that have this on their VIII. What kind of gains would I receive from this upgrade? Thanks for your input.

Is this an unpopular upgrade or do the people that have it not read and responded?

I talked with Warrtalon yesterday in reference to this, but was trying to get more input from other users.

He has my input, but yes, there are MANY people out there with BR stg1 and my stg1. Most of those people have moved on and done stages 2, 3, and/or 4, though, so keep that in mind.

In addition, it's not really a case of asking what people think of the BR Stg1. It's pretty well accepted that those are the proper stg1 mods that will do wonders on an VIII. Some people choose other brands and maybe include or remove individual parts for their preferred stg1 vs stg2, but in the end, everyone has those same mods with the intake being the only exception.

I had it on my VIII and it was great, which is why I got it for my IX too. You will definitely notice the difference with this upgrade. Install is very simple too, even for those that are not mechanically inclined like myself.

What was the turn around time for getting your ECU back?

The ECU is always flashed and returned with overnight shipping the same day as long as it's received by before noon on a weekday. How long it takes beyond that depends on what shipping you choose when SENDING it. If you overnight it, then it should get back in 2 days. Just make sure you get it there on a weekday when Dynoflash is in the office and not on a tuning trip.

Thank you both Warrtalon and Alicea for your input. You have made my decision easier to make.
