resurfaced flywheel

Has anyone resurfaced their flywheel when upgrading clutch?

i reason i ask, is because i did, and was wondering if this could be the reason to why my flywheel and clutch burned out.

how was your expericence?

Maybe if some dimension was wrong but just the resurfacing of the face of the flywheel - I doubt it.

Based on your description, if the clutch and flywheel were both damaged or "burnt" as you describe it,that sounds like they both were over heated/slipped too much. Resurfacing of the flywheel alone would not cause premature wear on either.
