i plan on getting there race intercooler, jus woundering if my ams licp will work with this front mount

 

probably not, from what i know u need custom piping

I got both the Buschur Race FMIC & the AMS LICP on my Evo. Don't recall having any problems whatsoever when I installed them. Also, I think I asked someone @ Buschur before I ordered their IC.

I called BR yesterday and was going to buy there race core. I talked to Nick about it. I already have their upper and lower I/C pipes now. I on the stock I/C now. I was told that it wont line up and had to but a new lower pipe that was 270 bucks. because of that I ordered the AMS and am gonna be using all BR pipes for the stock I/C. So My understanding is that it wouldnt work cause BR pipe doesnt. THere is certain pipe that BR sells for the Race Core.

 

I was able to run the AMS 35r kit with hotside i/c piping with this intercooler and no extra modifications, it was a tight fit but worked.

Was using the original Buschur Deluxe cold side upper i/c piping with this setup too if that helps.

 

SuperFly, where in N/E ohio are you? Just curious.

I have the AMS licp w/ the BR regular FMIC and will be upgrading to the race core also before summer.

I know that the BR licp is NOT compatible with the BR regular fmic. I had fitment issues and had to buy the AMS licp.

I used a HPF licp and it didn't fit, I had to cut the p*ss out of the pipe to make it work

 

i have the buschur race intercooler.... i also have the ams gt35r kit..... my ams licp fit just fine.... the buschur race intercooler uses the stock location for the licp.... hope this helps

^ Good info, but is the AMS licp that comes with their 35r kit the same as the one they sell for the stock turbo?
