The AMS unit is similar to the stock LICP in that it has a reduced diameter for about the first foot coming off the turbo outlet extension. The diameter of the reduced section on the AMS unit is still larger than stock though. They claim that this config gives best power. The Buschur unit is unique in that they have devised a routing that saves about one foot of LICP length, and they eliminate the stock angled hose at the IC inlet. The other brands of LICPs are similar in design to the AMS unit except they all use full 2.5" diameter tubing from the turbo outlet extension to the IC inlet.

go with the buschur unit, as it eliminates the oem discharge tube that has a i.d. of ~1.570"... AMS & Nisei still utilize the oem discharge pipe.

It's all about minimizing pressure drop when your trying to ge the most out of a oem style turbo. Put that tboost in the engine, dont lose boost along the way with unnecessary pressure dropping components.

Thats a large part of the reason to upgrade the lower i/c pipe in the 1st place.

In saying that, find out if bushur's lower i/c pipe comes with a boost nipple, i beleive they didnt @ firast, not sure if they're inlcuded / option now.

The Bushchur Evo 9 LICP does not eliminate the discharge tube.
