I just need to know what a diff basket is.....i know its in the transfer case but if i could get an explanation of what it is id apperciate it.

P.S. i searched but really couldnt find what i was looking for, thanks ahead of time.

 

Sounds like a shop term so maybe it could mean a housing or pan *shrugs* good luck finding out

 

This part without the spider gears, just the housing is referred to as the "differential basket"
