ORC products are now in the US
Ogura Racing Clutch (ORC) has been the leading supplier of race clutches to the top race teams in Japan for some time now. After working closely with them for the past D1 season we have now cemented an agreement for full scale distribution of their products.
ORC clutches are found on all of the top race teams in Japan. The winners of this past season's GT300, Super Taikyu 1/2/3, D1, and many of the top Time Attack teams have all used these their products for fantastic results. It is the clutch of choice for many of the top street tuners in Japan as well such as Top Secret...so the product must be pretty good.
All of their clutches are complete kits so they come with a lightweight balanced flywheel along with the disc and cover.
For the Evo they offer several differnt types of products, all of which can be found in my thread in the vendor section. There is the perfect balance of full street clutches, to combo street/track, to full track clutches. We even offer the ablity to custom build you a clutch to your own specifications.

Please remember that we are the sole authorized importers of ORC products so everything will move through our warehouse before they make their way to other dealers and distributors. If you are ever concerned with the legitimacy of your dealer, feel free to contact me personally.
Some ORC powered vehicles.

I hope to see ORC powered vehicles on the track and street over the next several months and I will be looking for some individuals as well for partial sponsorships. So if you track your car and feel you can get ORC the exposure it needs then let me know and we can work something out.

Awfully cold reception for such a high profile company. As I stated I am looking for individuals interested in working with us in helping promote ORC. It is definitely worth it for anyone who is looking for a clutch in the next couple of months or want to upgrade to the best that Japan has to offer.

Every Tilton clutch is individually spin balanced and marked. Every Tilton flywheel is precision CNC machined for neutral balance.
Tilton knows a few things about balance... they supply 85% of NASCAR teams, where engines are turning over 9500 RPM for 500 miles straight (using a flywheel that is a large 12.875" in diameter). Tilton is also the spec clutch for the new Panoz chassis/Cosworth-power Champ Car World Series car, which will be a 4.5" 4-plate carbon/carbon clutch.
Lastly, Tilton's EVO package includes a hydraulic release bearing assembly that replaces the stock slave cylinder and related linkage.

i am familiar with Tilton's reputation and quality, i was just unsure if their lower priced products had the same components.
you could say that Tilton and ORC are equivalent in their credentials since ORC is a supplier to Super GT in Japan which I feel is their own NASCAR. in the end though until a direct comparison is made between clutches it is all speculation, unfortunately the cost of an ORC clutch will be inherently higher as well due to the cost of importation.

I am sure OGR builds a qaulity clutch, and I do not know enough about them to do a camparision either. I know they supply a few of the Super GT cars, but the vast majority of the Super GT car use carbon cluthes from AP Racing.
