Pardon my ignorance, but getting a full TBE necessarily means "loud-assed", right? I just have a custom road tune right now. Would the addition of a TBE invariably garner the attention of the police?

move.

J/K. A buddy of mine has the APS full catless 3" turboback. IMO it looks more stock than stock and it is super-quiet.

Believe me. I'd move if it were an option. Thanks for the info. And the expected WHP gain for this particular TBE over the stock set-up?

This is my daily driver and I already get enough unwanted attention from the cops as is, but they don't really have a reason to pull me over yet - but if I were to get an exhaust, I'm almost positive I'd get pulled over at least once a month.

I know the IX turbo is good for roughly ~25whp over the 03 turbo, plus the other modifications, but would it be retarded to have all these mods and no exhaust work whatsoever? I know the car would definately benefit from one, but I'd still see a definate power increase overall, correct? I'm also a little unsure if all the documented power gains of the IX turbo v.s. the VIII turbo were done with stock exhausts or aftermarket ones.

Let me know what you guys think, thanks!
I got the P2flash/WORKS TBE with Stealthwork muffler. Looks completely stock from the back end. No problems with cops at all & I have had it for over 2years now..

Had the opportunity to hear the Ex-Mag today. Very quiet and looks stock. I wasnt even aware the fellow had an exhaust honestly. Good choice if your looking for gains with an exhaust. He made 304 with a DP/TP combo, the RS-R ExMag, intake, UICP, and an Xede with a full custom tune. This is on an 03 VIII. Not sure of the dyno. It was done at Dyno4mance here in GA.

04 ssl with stock catback with internal flapper in muffler removed, 3" to 2.25" transition, cat removed and 3" downpipe. Also have cams, water methanol injection, 10.5 HS, dynoflash custom flash, and fine tune with LC1 WB ecuflash/evoscan.

Other than the boost guage, tiny green LED for WM, and amber warning LED the car appears and sounds to be bone stock. Until all 4 tires break loose - I must have added 130wtq to the car since I bought it's underpowered *** from the dealer brand new
