IX w/GSC S1 cams & meh - Need Injectors?

I have a IX with an SMC kit waiting to go in, and I would like to also go with a set of GSC S1 cams, but my question is, will I need a bigger injector than stock? I don't know at what point I would need to upgrade them, so any advice is appreciated.

Thanks

with meth you shouldn't have an issue...on pump gas alone you will likely be maxing them out...

OK, thanks. Is there anything else I should need if I have...

TBE
MBC
Injen Intake and hard upper pipe
Walbro
ARP headstuds
SMC Meth running either straight meth or 75/25
GSC S1 cams

Should I add a ported stock exhaust manifold and O2 housing, or LICP? Not sure if they are worth the time/effort. I do run a HFC, so those few HP aren't worth it to me, so that's why I'm not sure of these last few pieces.

Thanks

I am not a fan of the ported or after market manifolds or o2 housings but people here tend to be...the licp is a nice easy upgrade though...

Are you running 100% meth? Also, do you run a colder spark plug or any kind of ignition system booster?

Thanks!

Yeah I was leaning to 75/25 mix, and to be honest I may even have a map on 50/50 if I go with cams. I ran 50/50 in my last IX & Snow kit , it made a very nice daily driver, and would have gone Snow again, but I got a great deal on the SMC kit I got.

One other question about meth...If you run race gas along with meth - say for a track night - can I go higher boost/timing, or is there a point of diminishing returns? Just something I was curious about.

you will see minimal gains with race gas and meth on stock turbo, there is only so much you can push it...there are other additives to make more power but i haven't done enough personal testing with them to suggest it yet...

Gotcha - that's what I was thinking.

Yeah I don't enough about it either to even give it a shot.

+1. Any way to straighten out and increase airflow through the car is beneficial. It's also a cheap and easy mod as stated!
