To much boost?
Karta, you're oversimplifying this and not thinking about it thoroughly. Most flashes remove fuel cut, so we have to first ensure he has a value there. Next, we have to determine IF it is fuel cut, because as I just said, it's VERY RARE to hit fuel cut at 4000rpm - simply not enough airflow to trigger fuel cut.
You've actually used someone else's EcuTek software? EcuFlash was just released recently and EcuTek has been around forever. I would think if you've used EcuTek, which is very expensive and would only be owned by major tuners, that you would know which was which. Strangeness, indeed.

ok ill re explain my self. before i had my intercooler installed i was hitting a peak of 28 psi in 4th. when i got the intercooler on i tryed to do a 4th gear pull and at around 4000 rpms max boost i hear a loud pop noise like the turbo maxed out and it backed off. so yes like i hit a brick wall. checked all piping and nothing was out of place. i can go any where under 28 psi but when i hit that mark it makes that noise. didnt do this b4 i had intercooler.
