Piping blowing off

Do the brackets on the stock licp prevent the piping from coming off under boost b/c i put the bushur and i feel like it could blow off easy and i put it tight. Should i put the stock one on or is it fine?

If you want, spray a little hair spray on the piping then slide it on and tighten the clamp. I heard it works.

everyone says get T-clamps, which i am not saying that they dont work cuz i am sure they work fine. But if you want to make 100% sure that the pipe wont blow off do what i did.

Go to the Deisel supply shop, buy clamps for a turbo deisel F-350 pickup. i have attached a picture of them. these WILL NOT leak or come off, lol.

Its like killing a rabbit with a hand grenade. Over kill. But i would rather be safe then sorry.

NAPA and you could search for tbolt clamps and find the correct size.

FYI upgrade to silicon couplings too the factory stuff tends to expand under high loads

I got those.....they are called constant torque clamps. They are used in high boost turbo diesel applications.

I tried to buy one of those clamps for my intake manifold throttle body and I havnt changed it yet becuase I've been too paranoid about crushing the throtle body on the intake manifold...I don't know how tight to tighen it and its annoying when it blows off under full boost on the freeway....any advice???

You're not going to crush the throttle body. Use hair spray for the install, and as you tighten the t-bolt, you'll want to stop when there is a rapid change in the amount of force required to continue tightening the t-bolt.

NAPA has both t-bolts and the other one in the pic, just get them to let you look at the pics in there book. I have seen both of them in there.

If you're having trouble locating some t-bolt clamps this is a good site. http://www.siliconeintakes.com/ I've ordered from them twice now. Good pricing with quick shipping. Can't go wrong.

Are t bolts easier and safer to install than the spring loaded turbo dielsel clamps, on the intake manifold throttle body without having to worry about breaking anything? Thanks
