Turbo housing ?

I have a turbo sitting around in the closet. it says .60 on it so im assumin its a 60 trim. the exhaust side turbine has a chip in it is it possilbe to switch the intake portion with that of my stock turbos if so what would the results be?

You should probably get the flak jacket ready to slip on, just in case. Do you have anymore specific nfo on the turbo in the closet? Was it even off of a Mitsubishi?

lol..warr i agree.. but nooo way thats way to big of a compressor housing for the stock exhaust housing.anyway what kind of turbo is it?

I found a turbo in the dumpster the other day, it says PeterBuilt on it and is huge......will it work on my EVO?

The .60 is just the A/R and not attributable to the size of the turbo. The area of the cone to radius from center hub is expressed as a ratio A/R. Not that 60 trim is really an exact size either but it's the ratio of the inducer/exducer. Did that help?
