You're right 90GSX-03EVO. According this link the HKS Valcon Pro is a way to retro-fit the MIVEC system into the Evo 4/5/6/7/8.

Separate MIVEC controller = STOOPS.

HKS USA has at least one IX in SoCal that I know of that has these cams on them along with the Valcon controller. It will most likely be released before the end of the year if at all. The cams combined with the Valcon controller will be above the price point of the other cams already offered for the IX.

From my understanding it would seem that if you have an Evo 9 you do not need the Valcon MIVEC controller, so how much are the HKS MIVEC camshafts for both the intake and exhaust combined, dxbevo9?

I dont get the point of this thread... HKS will some day release them, and like everything else, will be totally overpriced and will under perform. rumors are crap

When you buy HKS your pretty much buying the name. Its the same thing with hks 280 they are the same thing as 272's they just hipe them up and they cant live up to what everyone wants them to.
I am going to have to disagree with this. Many, many people were happy with their HKS cams over the years and now some people who are willing to sacrifice some driveability for power are upgrading. I do not think you are paying just for the name with HKS products either. They are a very old and reputable company that actually engineers their parts. I mean they make airplane engines for Gods sake so they know their stuff, and that is what you pay for.
