Sparky I did that and my problem is getting worse. My boost kicks in after 5000 rpms I think there is something way wrong with other components. The late boost only started to happen until I did the turnbuckle . Before I did that procedure I was overboosting. I think my boost controller is jacked its not holding boost when i pressure tested it this time around. Could my turbo be going out if im hitting boost late
im having a same issue.... i tried switching between the hallman and turboxs mbc and its same.... at lowest setting its boosting at 15-16psi around 3500 rpm but then it starts climbing quickly... by redline its roughly around 23-24psi... depending on what gear im on. if i the mbc setting alil higher, it will hit 16-17 psi then quickly climb to 25-26psi... neverending boost it looks like lol. its very frustrating.
it doesnt sound like a typical boost creak where it goes steady for some time then slowly climbs up more. never steady, always climbing.
background is i have TBE and no flash yet. i recently had ported exhaust manifold and ebay o2 housing installed. do u think the installer touched the wastegate?

i was wondering besides wastegate, maybe the silicone hoses has a hole/tear and i cant see it?
i did replace um right now hope its good

mifesto: Did you change from the 9.8 to the 10.5 hotside as well? At any rate, it sounds like you may have too much WG preload. You could try lengthening the threaded actuator rod by rotating it out a turn or two(counterclockwise, when facing the turbo from the passenger-side front fender).
Now, if you're gonna attempt this...you want to only rotate the turnbuckle on the threaded end of the actuator rod. You must avoid rotating the rod itself, as you might damage the solenoid.
So, first loosen the backup nut behind the turnbuckle while the turnbuckle is still mounted on the flapper valve's pivot arm. Once you've loosened the backup nut, then remove the cotter pin and pry the turnbuckle/actuator rod free by using a flat blade screwdriver.

I just adjusted the actuator... I have full boost by 4k. The wastegate flapper was being held open by a miss adjusted actuator. WOW what a difference its unbelievable. Thank you all so much!!! It is greatly appriciated!!!
