When i baught the car, around the first 3,000 miles i would look at my MR boost gauge.. it would peak at 1.35-1.4 ish.. and slowly taper down to a 1.25-1.3 ish.
Now after 9,000 miles, it peaks at 1.2 and tapes down to 1.05-1.1.

would this be because of a boost leak, or would the cold tempture have anything to do with the boost dropping?

 

sounds possible, or maybe the w/g spring worked in more, any back up on this?

 

make sure the car is fully warmed up before you test to see how much boost you have. the stock ecu limits the boost when temps are below a certain point. if you have a manual boost controller obviously this will no longer have any effect and you should boost normally even from a cold start.
