i just put in new oem plugs. i started it up and every 3ish seconds it would make a popping sound...

is that normal for a little bit? i only had it running for 10 seconds..

ah i have the same problem, i believe your car is missing during idle

 

what does that mean?

 

Could it be they are not gapped properly? Maybe the wrong plugs?

 

o sorry, well it means either your spark plugs are not gapped correctly, but you said you got oem ones so, they should correct. Also when I said it is missing, I meant it is mis-firing during idle. Try reving it up some and see if it gets worse!

 

gapping is to spec... havent changed them... just measured them straight out of the box..


idk about revving it up... that doesn't sound like a great idea...

how you going to blow something up if you give it a little gas, your cel isnt even on!!

 

im redoing everything right now... and seeing if it goes away.. everything looks right at the moment...

 

just go pull one plug now and see what it look like,no you wont blow anything.how does it drive?does it breakup when you drive.
