Hopper just thought the same way as I did. You can add me to your dummy list for not reading the questtion right on the first time.

Again, thanks for correcting the people.

Be carefull all the replacement turbo outlet pipes I have seen people have been complaining about bad fitment stay with stock. As far as regular replacement ones I definetly say AMS. I have it and did notice an increase Boost response and picked up 8-12whp depending on where at in the rpm range you look at my dyno graph from before and after with stock intercooler.

I just noticed you forgot to mention the fighter's garage LICP as a recommendation!

I know, I was simply saying that any Licp kit is designed to work with the stock turbo. Thats why they include a new one with their turbo kits. Because its not the stock turbo.

Edit: I do realize that he wants to eliminate the first section as well. But I Am pretty sure that most of them do, Otherwise it would be pointless to just to increase the size of half of the licp.

He said STOCK TURBO also most of them don't, and yes they do just adapt it to a larger pipe right off the stock turbo outlet pipe. It is so short where I do not see too much of a difference. On my RMR kit it is not much larger and then goes to 2.5".

i was searching a while back for the same thing, there was 1 that looked decent, but you had to get a complete pipe kit & it was made by RVM.

I dont know what the i.d. is of the stubby discharge pipe of the rvm unit.

if they stil sell this kit, maybe you can sel lthe uicp?

btw, i ended up making my own licp. my discharge section is 1.875" & flares out to 2.25 imediataly after it gets past the w/g actuator, then goes into a 2.5" pipe for the 180deg section.

yeah, it looks ghetto, as i hacked up a used lower oem pipe to get the flare portion, but i feel it is better than anything out there, especially for the money, ~$50-

Size isn't everything. The stock piece that AMS and others use is the correct size for the turbo. A good LICP will grow gradually to the intercooler for good air flow. Jumping directly to 2.5 right at the turbo may actually hurt power.

Good luck
