What is the highest PSI you can run on a stock evo9 motor?
Sometimes the amount of sarcasm on this board is rediculous. What is funny is that everyone at one time was a newbie to cars/modifying and into everything in general. For those who are always this sarcastic I hope you take up a new craft like motorcycles or something else and people who are experienced in those fields always respond to your questions with sarcasm and stupid answers.

and why not... I am tuned for 23-24lbs. on pump, and it's been running fine for over 20k....I understand that headstuds are needed for "security" at @ 25lbs, so 24 seems high but it seems fine, and I am probaly the most concerned on this forum w/ reliability as I have owned numerous dsm's and a couple evos.
BTW my friend's got a 35r on a stock block, w/studs running over 30 psi....

I didn't say there was anything wrong with 24psi. I run 26.5psi daily on alky with the stock head bolts. I just said he was wrong that 24 is the limit on stock head bolts and 30psi is the limit with head studs. The engine does not have a boost limit - it's a combination of many other factors, therefore, the original question is invalid as I already stated.
