Are you sure you didn't get the Turbosmart Dual-Port bov? That's the only Evo specific one I've seen. That valve will always VTA some....causing your problem.

No a tune won't fix your problem with the bov. It should have came with a recirculation plate. Use it, or put back on your stocker.

it came with a plate....hte directions say optional for blocking supersonic port. so if i use this plate will it make it a non recirculating,

I admit i don't really deal with turbosmart very much. But im assuming that the plate you are reffering to is the recirculation plate. I would install it.

HKS makes an Idle stabilizer, or you can get a MAF Stabilizer both sold at Lancershop. This will trick your car into thinking the recirculation is still hooked up.

No, no you don't use the HKS EIDS for this - don't even bother.

Dude, the blocking plate replaces the "bell" shaped piece on the BOV, not the part that goes back into the intake side. Once you block that port off, it will recirculate 100%. Also, make sure the BOV is in correctly and not backwards, a lot of times people will install this BOV wrong.
