Question Random Misfires 030X SES: Need updated information

Alright, I'm hoping we can get an update from a few people on the random misfires 030x SES situation. This has been an on and off annoyance for me for the last 10-15k miles. My car is stock with 94k miles.

The last I read in the thread from '05 was that people were still experiencing the issues even with the reflash. Also, there were a few people who had their trannies rebuilt and said they weren't experiencing the issue anymore but I'd be curious if that remains true almost 2 years later. There are other instances of supposed fixes I'm sure I don't remember from the terribly long thread but most replies were within 500-1k miles and I'm more curious about 10k miles or at least something one might consider long term.

Is this issue fixable at this point in time or are we all still standing around waiting for a certain manufacturer to figure it out?
