Warr,
How soon before you get the IX turbo installed?

Did you stay with the stock injectors? If not what size are you running? Looks like a nice setup! One more question did you have to trim the undertray for the Intercooler.

Loving the Ohlins, but only one event so far on them, and that was the last SCCA winter auto-x. I took #1 overall, and I'll be trying again next Sunday then yet again the following Sunday. These are winter events, though, so it doesn't count until the Summer series begins in March or April. We'll see how high I'm finishing then, but to finish #1 overall even in a winter event is promising.

The IX goes on as soon as Revolutions Tuning has time to do it.

If I was going to stay with 91 then I was hoping to make the stock injectors work. At altitude there is a little less fuel required due to the thinner air so it might have been possible -- although it would have been tight. Since I am going to be running E85 an injector upgrade is necessary so I have some 880s that I am going to install just before the tune. This, however, is a bit of a gamble as E85 is a bit of an unknown as is the turbo. Hopefully they will be adequate. We will find out

The undertray does require trimming for this intercooler. I have actually not done this yet as I have just left it off until I am sure everything is tight and working correctly. The last thing in the world I want to do is pull all those damn fasteners off again for a boost leak! I am seriously thinking of having a replacement made instead of using the stock as it is such a PITA.

Here is some good install instructions if you are thinking of the IC

JTB, if you haven't already checked out RMEVO.com, you should head over there. We have the inaugural RMEVO meet and greet coming up in March, so if you have time and don't mind driving to Castle Rock, we'd love to see the newly upgraded beast.

I checked out rmevo.com.
Interesting site. I should be able to make the fourth.

A bit of a bummer that the signature can only be 50 chars and also that they dont allow for animated avatars

would it be ok to stay with stock injectors if only running about 22lbs of boost?

Maybe, but you'd have to watch your Injector Duty Cycles when you get tuned. There's not much reason to go through this much trouble and expense to only run 22psi, though.

Just went for another drive to adjust my boost map. I scaled the boost back 20% on the Vishnu map and then did a quick third gear pull. I had to let off as the boost climbed quickly past 1.8 bar. I then zeroed out by boost map and tried again. Just with the stock actuator and no ECU adjustments the boost ran up to 1.45 bar and stayed there until red line.

I am hoping that this will be adequate to drive for the next week. My EGTs peaked at 850C and watching the SMART logging there was no timing being pulled due to noise and a little fuel was being added.

The car also feels faster accross the rev range than it ever has before -- especially towards red line. It is going to be so much fun with a good tune

You mean run the stock IX turgo and not the 20g-lt? FP is for Forced Performance, the makers of the turbo.
