I just thought I would share my experience and some pics of my turbo upgrade. It went very smoothly although basically took all day. I had no issues with any bolts not coming free even after 40K.
The hardest part was getting the banjo fitting back on after replacing my clutch line
I also welded on 2 mounts to the O2 housing for the heat shield. I didn't want to leave it with 1 mount and I really didn't want to cook my AC compressor
Here is what I installed:
FP Evo Green
SS Autochrome O2 housing
AMS Intercooler
AMS LICP
SAMCO Hoses
Full T-Bolts instead of hose clamps
Clutch line and restrictor removal
I found that the 3" t-bolt from this thread is too wide and does not seal correctly on the intake manifold so I ended up using the stock hose clamp.

Impressions:
I will really be able to tell once Shiv comes out next week for my tune. Until then I am just driving on my old map and being gentle. The turbo spools quickly and seems to flow a lot of air. I did a quick 4th gear pull at 3/4 throttle and boosted easily to 1.9 bar before I let off. I had never seen past 1.7 even on a cold day with the stock turbo
I guess I will know more after the tune. Will report back

The intercooler is a direct replacement. I, however, decided to pull the crash bar for weight as well as improved air flow.
I will definitely be posting graphs. I have graphs from before the mods and will post all new plots after this coming weekend

JTB, i had no idea you also had the Forge BDCK. It's a rare sight, and it's a way you can always recognize my car, since it's so rare. Good thing your Evo is silver and not GG.
Interesting combo of mods with the Buschur/FP 20g, AMS IC bits, and Vishnu tuning. The E-85 is a good idea, but will you have access to it all the time everywhere you go? I was worried that the winter blend may be different than summer blend, thus requiring another custom tune once summer rolls along. I guess you can fall back on the 91oct map, but that's no fun!!

I have had the ducting for quite some time. I was pleased to see Forge offer the mounts for the base of the calipers as I had been looking for a way to do that and was contemplating having some made. I remember when you installed yours -- reminded me of my car
As far as E85... Unfortunately the closest station is about a 30 minute drive. I figure I can take several of my gas cans and basically use it as race fuel. Cheaper, good power and burns cooler
I have also heard the Boulder will be getting an E85 station soon. Supposedly the PDQ is talking about it -- we will see. I am amazed Boulder doesn't have one yet considering how tree hugger friendly this place is.
My mod path is a touch unusual. I, like you, don't descriminate based on tuners/vendors. I research thoroughly and buy what works. I have great expectations of the FP green
My last step is to get Paul's suspension. He gave me some grief after he heard I bought these mods instead of his setup. If I were doing more track stuff with the Evo rather than just using it as my daily then I probably would have. Regardless I am sure it will happen as soon as my wallet recovers a little from this upgrade. How are you finding your Ohlins?
