Why would you go through the hassle of putting on an EVO9 turbo with all new parts, and stuff when you can buy a stock 8 turbo for nothing (youll make money if you sell eov9 turbo) and put that on and then trade it in.

I agree what he you just said. Plus, Ray, don't you already have your old Evo 8 turbo? or you sold that one to Steve (Black Evo)?.

You are correct, thats why ill just stick on the 9 turbo and strip the full-race and AEM and part it out.......i wouldnt mind selling the whole set-up. Its running in the car right now, and if i took you for a ride, you would be seriously impressed. 459 HP @ 25psi with 100 octane. I have it turned down to 20 psi and the car hauls A$$. Ray

From FP's website. I don't see any mention of being able to send in the VIII turbo for upgrade.

http://linux.forcedperformance.net/m...NTEVOGreenExch

"We are happy to offer this "EXCHANGE" version of the FP EVOGreen model turbocharger.

This version of the turbocharger offers the same exact flow and parts specifications, but lets the customer send in their stock EVO9 turbo or previously upgraded EVO9 turbo to save money.

Here are some of the parts I used.
I also replaced all the bolts to connect the turbo to the manifold and also the O2 housing. I also wish I had had the gasket for the oil return tube as I had to make one.
