From what I've seen Dave's Mustang dyno reads 14% lower than most dynojets. Which works out to 703whp..

Still another 50whp left in it.. or 42-43 or so on Dave's..

People forget how Buschur's dyno reads-
600-650whp on his dyno is 140-145mph trap speed range for a 3,000-3,200Lbs EVO.

I agree with others though, I don't see how your current set up is maxed out, when there are GT37R turbo setups making more power. There are a few 37R setups that have trapped 145mph+, and 9sec9 GT37R setup made 649whp on Buschur's dyno. So I don't see how your setup is maxed out, if you really wanted more power, I believe there is more power to have. Proccoevo I believe is also running a GT40R setup and his EVO traps 150mph+.

I'm confused.

The "GT37R" is a ball bearing P-trim/T67. The T67 is a 75 pound/min wheel and the P-trim has been proven to make 700+ WHP.

The GT4088R is a 68 pound/min compressor wheel.

Why do you guys think the "GT37R" is going to be maxed out before the GT4088R?

I'd still take a GT4088R over a GT37R any day of the week, but the GT37R is actually the bigger turbo here. Try to remember, "GT37R" is just some made up turbo and is not really a GT series CHRA. The T67 wheel is a GT series wheel, from what I have been told from a Garrett Direct distrbiutor. But the P-trim wheel is a far cry from a GT turbine wheel.

Anyway, a side from that, congrats on the numbers. I hate to say it, but you'll ALWAYS want more...

The '37R' is in the medium frame turbos where as the gt4088 is the large frame, same as the 42 frame. I could be wrong, but I think that's correct. The 37R (t67 bb) is same frame size as the 35 series. Yes the wheel is larger in the 37R however, but I think the 4088 is available with a couple of wheel options.

As far as dyno differences, not sure where the 14% figure comes from, but by reading old posts of dynos being done on the same day, Buschurs and I think a close by DynoJet (with DB and the owner of the other one doing it out of curiosity)
the numbers were much closer to 20+. What needs to be understood that taking 700 dynojet and calculating DOWN to the Mustang, it takes less % to reach the
actual numbers on the Mustang, where as converting from the Mustang to the Dynojet requires a higher percentage. Example:
750 dynojet - 20% = 600 Mustang
600 mustang + 25% = 750 DynoJet That's why the %'ages vary. In some known tests, the difference has been as much as 30%.

There's a thread floating around where 500 awhp EVO's post their dyno sheets. Someone on there figured out the difference from Daves MD to a dyno jet that he dynod the drag car on. People who were tuned on Dave's dyno would take that number and multiply it by 1.2 to get a dyno jet number.

617 x 1.2 = 740 hp

I could be wrong, but I really don't feel like looking for the thread.

I want more. I already have turbos running thru my mind and I can't stop it. I need a good therapist I think. Anyone know of a good one?

Now try and shoot for 9's on pump/meth!
Why don't you enjoy this for a while. Your car is finally done and you haven't even put a dent in the mileage yet.

According to Dave when his car ran the 9.97 at 142 it was only making about 540 whp on his Dyno. So by this my car should trap around 145 or so.
