NOS injection thru UICP??

Just wondering if it is possible to use NOS injection thru their UICP to cool down the air charge going into the intake manifold?? Is it as effective and effiecient as the Alky kit??? Is it much cheaper than the alky kit when refilling???

If you ran it that way...you increase your chances 10 fold to burn the car up, or an explosion.

you can use a setup where it sprays in front of the intercooler. you can also tap the nozzle into the pipes before the intercooler if you want to.

like everyone is sayin, use the search button and you'll find a few threads on this subject matter. if you haven't checkout socalevo or norcalevo.net boards....a little more friendly people on there...but ask a newb questions and ya get newb answers.

I don't know much about either Alky or nitrous injection. So, I won't be much help. But, if it was me I would go with a high quality alky injection kit with a built in safeguard. I have a fear of nitrous but did use an alky injection kit once before on my diesel truck. Good Luck.

There are indeed some friendly people on NorCalEvo.net. On here, though, you best come dressed in full Nomex.

Using BOTH is the most fun but you need to know what you are doing before you take that dive...

If you're going to run NOS you have to make sure that you are spraying right before the MAF sensor so that the ecu could make adjustments when you press that button. Its cheaper to have alky, but a 50 shot wouldn't hurt just for those times that you get beat on the first run

Ultimate: How many mph does your nitrous setup add to your trap speeds? Have you ever run it with just the alky(w/o N2O) just for comparison's sake?

DO NOT listen to this advice, our mafs suck and can not account for anything more than a 35 shot and even that would push it...do a wet shot if anything...
