thats right!! the sr-71 leaks fuel on the ground thru the expansion gaps and needs to be refulled in the air when the skin gets hot and the gaps seal up due to thermal expansion.

calculations for the build was done on a slide rule

that is one piece of amazing machine!

Titanium is not good when it comes to downpipes, period. It's not as good as stainless steel when it comes to heat resistance. It will be brittle under high heat. Debate over.
Guess he better give up flying.

There is no full Ti TBE, because the DP can't be Ti. The best you can do is a $800-900 Ti cat-back and $200 Ti test pipe.
YR Advance makes a TI DP. Sit down please...

Titanium like other "Alloys" can be had/designed for different applications. Coming from the Mountain Biking background I learned a little back then about Titanium and the properties/applications of the "Different" Varieties of Titanium. Titanium can be both rigid and also hard amd unwielding. And it can be alloyed with other metals--Aluminum, etc.. to be made/designed for applications where flexibility and heat conductivity are issues. You will see Most Titanium in todays applications used for CORROSIVE applications. Titanium Alloys are highly sought after for the chemical industry. When corrosive liquids are in-place Titanium Alloys are used to contain these corrosive chemicals.
Every metal used today are Alloys, and they all can be designed/Engineered to perform certain tasks/criterior. Titanium is not a one size fits all metal, like every other high tech Alloy...

Take a LOOK at this older thread......https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh....php?p=3851524....OK, Who wants One????

And Here ---http://www.bulletproofautomotive.com...p?category=127 is one lace where you can drool all over all that Titanium Exhaust...

Everyone knows that these statements are true. Out of the two the AMS exhaust is a better fitting, sounding, and all around better exhaust.

That's a downpipe, not a full turbo back exhaust...

Buschur exhausts fit just as good.

Sound is subjective.

There hasn't been any back to back testing between the two, so who knows when it comes to power.

To me, and most people with some sense, that doesn't make it better..

Not saying AMS isn't good, it most certainly is, but you havent given ANY proof to back up your claims that it is superior to Buschur's exhaust.

Sit down please.......
