exhaust manifolds??

I was just wondering what exhaust manifolds members are running on here with their STOCK turbos and if you've experienced any problems with them. I've been looking around at buying a manifold ($400 or less preferably), but want to know pros/cons about certain brands that are out there on the market. The two brands that I have been considering purchasing are DC Sports and Megan Racing. Is anyone running these and have had any problems with either one? Any input would be greatly appreciated. or if you can suggest another brand I may have overlooked, that would be great also. thanks for your help.

I searched before I posted and found a few threads about how cheap ebay ones have cracked and how the first release of DC Sports exhaust manifolds have cracked also, but I was just wondering if anyone has had any problems with the second "improved release" of their header, or if anyone has had a problem with Megan ones. thanks for your help!

we have used plenty of megans now, and have yet to have a problem.

one had a clearance issue, and they overnighted us another. but no cracking.

also using their o2 housings, no problemo's........

There are many threads on the megan manifold alone, many have said to have their's crack and discolor, i have never experienced problems but am now running a ported buschur manifold....so its about a 50/50 that some will say they have had theirs crack and some have not had any problems

the megans and all the tubular manifolds on the STOCK turbo have shown (through dyno testing) that they provide no gains for the stock turbo and that if you think it is quicker or has faster spool up its all in your head. i have 2 friends that both experienced the megan manifolds cracking, not just once, several times. port/coat the stocker the gains have been proven.

I like my DNP..... Its so purty when you pop the hood at night after a few hard pulls, and its almost crystal clear

Well built with a couple nice support bars holding it from stress points.

Downside is its a little pricey. nice unit.

Do the DC sports over the MeganRacing. just my .02 cents

It has been dyno proven that the megan gains 3-4whp but at the same time loses 9-10wtq

Please show me links to this?

then why do they make them to fit stock turbo's?

(its a conspiracy theory right? like Mel Gibson is flying around in a black helicopter)

i have a maxford exhaust manifold and i really regret buying it. i should have just sent my stock one to buschur. i'd recomend that. if you MUST MUST get a manifold for the stocker, get full-race. 800-900 dollars but it'll be worth wasting money on a crappy manifold like me

You also pay $125 for it..

don't understand how people can own a 30+k car and insist on putting cheap parts on it that makes no sense. we are not first Gen eclipse owners here.

Its an identical ebay part out there for even less.

You have to pay to play.
