Throttle body service!

does anybody know of any company's that re-work the stock throttle body? I know works does but i remember seeing another company on here that offered the service, this company did allot of ceramic coatings and porting work. i know that they also made a beautiful mini battery kit for the evo. i just can't find them any were!

I think both of these sites do...I think you have the option to buy a whole new throttle or to send in the core and have it reworked

I think the stock one is fine for anything under 450whp.

After 40,000 mile however, you should fully disasemble, clean, and put molybdenum grease on the side pivot surfaces

I just hought of what a stupid responce I made, danm

what is the point of cleaning the thottle body anyway, does it give back the horsepower that it gave when the car was new?

Over time the grease degrades and stuff gets crudded - just gereral maintenence.

But it doesn't give back the original OEM whp I've seen lost with the installation some of the aftermarket parts I've seen used

yeah i know, magnus intake manifold, and everything else well past 450whp but i apreciate your 2 cents
