They do sell E100 at some stations. I've never seen it though. The "purest" you can make corn squeezins' is I believe like 95%, but i think it's called E100.

I wonder if you could ask the gas station to just order you some. Then just pick up 55 gallon drums of it once in a while.

I dont think anyone would have E100 becaue you could drink it than. If you wanted to pay liquer tax on it you could buy it straight. The E98 is the highest blend I have heard of. I eather want to get E98 or E85 with the 15% being race gas.

Our E85 only # would have been much better if we had a better boost solanoid. The GM one is really sucking. We were 20psi climing to 28psi on our E85 only runs. I really think we could have gotten more out of the E85 only but only had so much time on the Dyno and did not want to push the motor to hard.

Now lets hope for some good weather next weekend to see what she can do at the track.

Wow! thats very impressive. I wish they had more E85 pumps in NorCal but the closest one is over 40 miles away. I would like to convert my STI.

Since everyone's been makin such crazy numbers with E70 recently, I would imagine that E98 could support more power than C16.

Think about getting a VP Import equivalent at a couple bucks a gallon..

We'll see for sure though..

 

We noticed after each dyno pull we had to let the engine warm up it seems the e85 cools the engine down alot.

 

We were spiking 42 droping 37psi buy 9k. We took 1 spring out of the WG this week so we could run less than 28psi if we like but I think it will killing our boost controll with the spring out.

 

Do you think when you get E85 that the meth injection will even be necessary?

 

Probably will still use the meth. At my current point of view the meth will allways let us push it harder. With our boost and timing levels now and ware I saw the 70% E85 run out at I dont see us making much more than 650whp on a better blind with his combo. I feel the meth will allways let us push it a bit harder. With a true E85 or E95 and meth we might be able to get 4 deg more timing in.
