I want to install a fuel cell but I'm not sure on how to prepare my trunk for it. I know I will be welding a firewall behind the back seat, but I have a couple questions.


Do remove the stock fuel tank when installing a fuel cell, If so how?

What is the box compartment that connects lines to the neck of the stock fuel tank in the rear bumper area on the driver side?

When cutting out the spare tire compartment how much do I cut? I notice it is bolted to the rear cross member if I take the bolts out with it hurt the integrity of the rear supsension?

I want to weld a plate cover the spare tire area and drop the sump down from there.

Any input, pics and safety concerns would be greatly appreciated.
