163-165psi done at freehold mitsubishi dealer

even with cylinder 1 being 10 psi less than others?

Are you cranking WOT with a relatively warm engine? If they're within about 10% or so you should be fine.

IIRC factory compression spec for each cylinder is 160psi +- 5psi with no more than 5psi difference between cylinders. I among others compression tested at 175psi on each cylinder +-1psi per cylinder.
