care to diagnose?

I have a tilton twin ceramametallic clutch and stock transfer case and tranny. New problem is when I go from partial throttle to 3/4 or full throttle the rpms jump by 1-2000, but the power is not going to the wheels. Within a couple of seconds things are back to normal. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Sounds like the clutch is slipping. Diagnosed.

J/K.

Is it adjusted properly?

Clutch has 5000 miles. Funny thing is that when I originally installed it it was very harsh and engagement was very low. 3000 miles ago, I had my motor fully built, and clutch was balanced. Engagement has been very high, and occasionally looses some pressure at the top (which is corrected by tapping it). I have repeaedly bled the clutch, and no change. Should I keep bleeding it? and would this cause my problem? The tilton is self adjusting, and using the tilton flywheel. It cannot be worn out though, as I am only at 300something hp and only launched it 4-5 x since new clutch. RPM jumping problem only started one week ago.

they (plates) tend to slip when they're not fully warmed up, it grips better when hot

Cerametallic plates shouldn't slip. My twin carbon slips unless it's heated up, but that Tilton should not be slipping so badly. I'd call Tilton or the vendor who sold it to you and find out what they think.

Thanks for the replies. Once again bled clutch line but still have same problem. I may replace the fittings for my clutch line and bleeder line as i believe air may be getting in the system somehow. I'll give Tilton a call tomorow as well.
Thanks again

air will cause the slave cylinder to not disengage at times until the air squeezes by, you might have a leak where air is getting in or bad seals on the end of the cylinder.

also might be rubbing or catching on something?
