It's back again? I thought mrdecibel proved this when he took his manifold off just to find out and it wasn't an undersized gasket. That was a month ago, when we see real proof to the contrary this tread should be killed too.

My point was it's been a month and still no pics. Did you take them to a 1 hour (er 1 month) photo?
no i took pics the on the second time we did it less tan two weeks ago and have been too busy to develop them so the guy that did the actual work is emailiong me his pics tonight
if you knew how busy i am, you would be like DAMN !! im working almost 20 hours a day to get my business in full effect. pictures are the last on my list. i WILL get them but no promises on when

But never mind, that's besides the point.
IMHO, you're not experiencing "turbo lag" per se. It's just purely lack of torque that makes the car lethargic below 3000rpm.
It's a 2litre, 8.8:1 compression. And you're comparing it to a NA with 2.5litre 10:1 compression.
I don't own Evo (yet
) but from what I hear, the Evo is VERY VERY good in terms of (lack of) turbo lag.IMHO, get a lightened flywheel. That would cure the "lag" (NOT turbo lag).
