After much debate about which turbo I'll be getting, I've decided to go with the Garrett non BB 50 trim. I have sourced this turbo in Manila already, so I have saved a lot of cash staying away from very expensive shipping costs. It's to be built with a custom manifold and the other bits to make it work, and also look really good.
I will be tuning this on wideband w/ SAFC only, then move on for a reflash sometime soon. With these I'll be able to see both gains and effects for myself... I'll be posting not numbers, but maybe my take on how the turbo will be working. I'll be using my butt dyno at first since I'll be off to Hong Kong right after I get the car. Goal is only around mid 300 hp, but drivability is still the main concern as the roads here are not as long and free flowing like yours! Til then, cheers!
