I had just started tunning so yeah it was a little lean there. The boost did get better, if you look about 13psi the alky was hitting and causeing a big sag in the afr, that also slowed the spool. By the time I got done it was hitting 20 psi around 4000.

Here is vid of a 3rd gear pull:

thanks for all the info. wow its a .42ar turbine housing? thats a horrable match for a gt3076r. do you have any picks or links for the upgraded turbine housing with the external wastegate? how much does that cost? how much more power will it make. just for now i only plan to run this turbo on oump gas at 21-22psi. how much faster can i expect with this compared to the stock 2003 turbo

That auction had an 850 buy it now. I saw it thought about it for 15 minutes. Then came back to buy but some stupido put a bid on it cancelling the buy it now. Oh well.

Seems like Dave said the upgrade parts were about $750 or so. On pump you should be fine. If you look at the vid spool was pretty good on the street, that vid was shot on 93oct and alky. I would run it like it is and see if you like it, I was pretty happy with mine and I have no doubt my turbo could go 11.30's .

Have you thought about sponsorship?

Nothing wrong buying legit parts off of eBay. Still a good deal IMO. I would definitely get a bigger turbine housing and see if you can go external wastegate if possible.

you can buy name brand brand new parts on ebay that most shows cannot match in price. if you keep you eye;s out you can get useed name brand parts for cheeper than you can anywhere else.

yeah but that would be +$700. for only 1,200 bucks i'm just going to slay this on and enjoy. should be much better than that tiny stock turbo
